Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, David Krovblit’s work is influenced with the everyday world.
The interpretation and response from Krovblit to the common is intriguing and thought provoking – his art engaging, personal and relevant. His work is an experience, both visual and cerebral. Each new piece exhibits well-crafted, colorful images steeped in highly conceptual, contemporary themes. Exploring social commentary, you can usually find a streak of humor running straight through his work. Pieces often incorporate compositing and retouching techniques that show his keen eye for detail and experience with the medium.
Krovblit studied Photography at Ryerson University leading to a decade-long career working professionally as an advertising photographer shooting national and international brand campaigns while creating artistically as a fine art photographer and being featured in both juried group showcases and solo exhibitions throughout Canada and the United States.
